FAQ's

These are my most asked questions all in one place.

Do you have a minimum to book? What is your maximum?

Yes! My minimum to book for Friday/Saturday/Sunday weddings is 3 adults, which includes the bride.

I can accommodate 5 people maximum. I am an independent makeup artist and do not have a team. 

​

If you have a larger bridal party that I cannot accommodate, but want me as your makeup artist, you can book me for at least my minimum of 3 up to my maximum of 5. Once you're booked with me I can supply you with my preferred vendor list and you can take it from there. If you have any questions regarding this put it on your inquiry!

How do I book you?

First, you will need to fill out an inquiry form, found here.

Once I have received your inquiry, you will hear from me within 1-2 business days to let you know if I am available for your date.

 

If I am available, I will send you a service agreement for you to sign and return back along with your deposit. Once I have both your deposit and signed agreement, you are officially booked! 

Can I book a preview/trial BEFORE booking you for my wedding?

Previews are for booked Brides only! This is firm.

How much time do you need for each person?

- 1 hour and 30 minutes for the bride

- 60 minutes for each person in the bridal party

- 30 minutes for a jr. bridesmaid

*I like to take my time and not rush through creating a look. I do not compromise my quality of work. This is truly art to me. IMO that would be a disservice to you.

Do you offer Airbrush?

I currently do not offer airbrush. I personally like using traditional liquid foundation. I believe it looks better on the skin and wears better on the skin. The techniques I use will ensure longevity and will give an airbrushed appearance.

What foundations do you use in your Pro Kit?

Currently I use:

Estee Lauder Double Wear

Nars Natural Radiant Longwear

I will choose the best formula based on your skins needs. I will typically mix two formulas together to create a custom blend for each person. 

When and where are Previews held?

I will reach out to you by email about 3 months before your wedding date.

I like to do your preview 1-2 months before your wedding because by then you'll have more of the vision you want for everything, e.g. your hair, dress, and the overall look you want for your makeup.

Block off 2.5 hours for your preview session. 

​

Previews are held at my home in Lexington, KY.

Do you offer makeup services for events other than weddings?

Currently, I focus on my client's big life events. At this time, this includes makeup for Weddings, Engagement, and Maternity only.

How is my start time for the "Day of" determined?

I will be the one who provides the start time. All I need from you, is what time your photographer needs everyone dressed.

Keep in mind, your DRESSED BY time and your MAKEUP FINISH time are NOT the same time. 

​

Once I have the time everyone needs to be dressed by I'll work backwards to give you the official start time.

Do you offer hair services?

No, I do not do hair. I offer only makeup services.
